We clamp this power pack on a 12 volt car battery that's been charged outside to run our 42-inch Toshiba TV in our camper after generator hours. It is so simple to use and that's why I bought it my wife is the one who connects and disconnects it well she is work camping at a campground in northern Wisconsin.
